Flags that are 5 feet and above are enormous and require extreme care in packaging, and installation. They ship in a custom protective crate that is included in the price. Freight charges will depend on your location and if you have a residential or commercial address. We can save quite a bit by shipping to a freight terminal in your area. OUTDOOR FLAG CARE AND MAINTENANCE: All stainless steel, aluminum, hand painted, UV printed and hand polished flags have a baked on clear powder coating (like an M&M candy shell) This clear powder coat is extremely durable and stands up to the elements perfectly......but there is periotic maintenance that is required to prevent cracking, peeling or fading. These flags are just like cars, if they are in direct sunlight all day, everyday, some sort of UV protectant should be applied a couple times a year. We recommend applying a high-quality car wax that provides a protective barrier against UV rays.
