OUTDOOR FLAG CARE AND MAINTENANCE: All stainless steel, aluminum, hand painted, UV printed and hand polished flags have a baked on clear powder coating (like an M&M candy shell) This clear powder coat is extremely durable and stands up to the elements perfectly......but there is periotic maintenance that is required to prevent cracking, peeling or fading. These flags are just like cars, if they are in direct sunlight all day, everyday, some sort of UV protectant should be applied a couple times a year. We recommend applying a high-quality car wax that provides a protective barrier against UV rays.
